In her welcoming speech, Phong said that Vietnam appreciates the comprehensive cooperation and relationship between the two countries, which promotes peace and development in the region.
She praised cooperation between the women associations of both nations, and hoped that, both agencies will step up the exchanges of information and experience.
The Chinese delegation gave an appraisal of Vietnam’s achievements, in which women’s contributions play an important part.
Ms Mang Xiao Si gave a presentation on China’s development and cooperation between the two associations, and congratulated the country on the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and the 80th foundation of the Vietnam Women’s Union.
