The eye of the storm makes landfall in Thua Thien-Hue province and Da Nang city at around 10 a.m. on October 27.

Due to strong winds, a truck loses control and overturns on the road to Hai Van Tunnel, the longest road tunnel in Southeast Asia, which connects Da Nang city and Thua Thien-Hue province.

Local authorities have temporarily banned all vehicles via Hai Van Tunnel to ensure safety.

Gales have knocked down several trees on Da Nang streets.

Local residents in Da Nang city are urged to limit going out from October 27 to October 28 to ensure safety.

Local authorities in Da Nang continue to take safety measures for vessels and maritime activities, whilst also keeping boats in the harbour and advising those still at sea to find safe shelter.

Volunteers prepare to evacuate people to safe locations, while stocking up on food, supplies, and essential goods.

In central province of Quang Nam, over 4,400 households are evacuated to shelters as storm Trami directly pounds the locality.
