First images of Gepard 3.9 frigate designed for Vietnam Navy
VOV.VN - The third Gepard-3.9-class frigate built for the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) has been put afloat at Russia’s Zelenodolsk Gorky Shipyard in Tatarstan.

Gepard-3.9 is made to fight airborne, underwater and overwater enemy, light objects under and above water, install active and passive obstacles, install mines, escort and guard convoys during conflicts, guard and patrol the state border and economic zones, and for other purposes. |
