President Triet affirmed that Vietnam’s Communist Party, State and people will always conserve and develop the traditional and comprehensive relationship between the two nations.
Mr. Buaphavanh spoke highly Mr.Triet’s visit to Laos in August of this year and said it contributed greatly to the development of Vietnam-Laos relationship.
He expressed his sympathy to Vietnam’s central provinces for their losses from the recent floods and hoped that the victims will soon overcome their hardships.
He congratulated Vietnam’s success as the Chair of ASEAN in 2010 which raised the nation’s status in regional and international forums.
