State President Luong Cuong warmly welcomed in Laos

VOV.VN - State President Luong Cuong arrived in Vientiane on April 24, beginning a two-day state visit to Laos at the invitation of General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President Thongloun Sisoulith.

President Cuong's visit takes place as the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos continue to see positive development.

General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith hosts an official welcome ceremony for Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong.

The two leaders stand on the podium while military bands play the national anthems of both nations.

Both leaders review the guards of honour of the Lao People's Army.

General Secretary and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, and President Luong Cuong introduce delegates from both sides.

Immediately after the welcom ceremony, the two leaders hold talks to explore ways to deepen and effectively promote their comprehensive cooperation.
