The Loc An rock embankment is a concrete-and-rock breakwater stretching about one kilometer along the Loc An estuary.

The structure has been built to protect the coastline, stabilise water flow and support fishing boats entering and leaving the local fishing port.

In recent years, the Loc An rock embankment has gained attention as a new seaside photo spot in the region. The long stretch of rocks and concrete blocks extending toward the sea creates a minimalist yet striking backdrop against the blue water and open sky.

Right next to the rock embankment is Loc An fishing port which is a bustling mooring place for boats.

Visiting the port between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., tourists will fully experience the simple life of fishermen as boats are laden with shrimp and fish.

Loc An beach has a mild climate year-round. The best time to contemplate its beauty is from November to April of the following year.

During trips to Loc An, visitors will have the chance to buy fresh seafood, experience pulling nets near the shore with fishermen, or learn about the traditional fish sauce making process.
