With their unique architecture, many brick kilns in Vinh Long are attracting a large number of tourists, especially young people.

To promote sustainable tourism, local authorities have encouraged residents to preserve rather than demolish old brick kilns, transforming them into tourism and service-based livelihoods while helping safeguard local heritage.

In Nhon Phu commune now, some households have invested in tourism models to welcome visitors.

A former brick kiln at Phuoc Loi tourist site has been repurposed into a unique attraction for visitors.

The brick kiln has been designed with an additional staircase and handrail leading to the top, offering panoramic views of the sprawling brick-kiln landscape along the Thay Cai Canal.

Loi also suggests that local authorities step up destination promotion, provide tourism service training for residents, and upgrade local roads to better accommodate larger numbers of visitors.

In the future, Nhon Phu is expected to become one of Vinh Long’s most attractive tourism destinations, with new attractions planned, including a ceramics museum, a tourist waterway, and a riverside square.
