Ho Chi Minh City will set off fireworks at 15 locations, including two high-altitude sites and several low-altitude locations.

This marks the first time that Ho Chi Minh City has organised fireworks displays at 15 locations during the Lunar New Year, significantly expanding from the eight locations back in the 2024 celebrations.

Soldiers are present in Thu Duc City as they prepare for a firework show on New Year's Eve.

At Thu Duc City, preparation of the artillery is urgent, but is done in a safe manner.

The city alone has 30 low-altitude artillery pieces.

The remaining points for lower-range fireworks will be located across Nha Be district, District 11, Binh Chanh district, Cu Chi district, Can Gio district, District 7, District 12, Hoc Mon district, and District 8.

Soldiers make thorough preparations in various techniques, with the aim being to leave a lasting impression on spectators.

Fireworks will be launched from midnight to 0:15 a.m. on January 29.

In addition to the spectacular fireworks display, Ho Chi Minh City also launches a string of cultural and artistic activities aimed at welcoming in the New Year of the Snake 2025, starting from 8:00 p.m. on January 28 (29th of Tet) to 0:30 a.m. on January 29 (early morning of the first day of Tet).
