Foreign tourists eager to discover folk games in Sa Pa

VOV.VN - Thousands of tourists, including many foreign travelers, took part in a wide range of activities held at the Cong Troi (Heaven Gate) Opening Festival on the third and fourth days of the first lunar month in Sa Pa district of the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai.

The festival attracts thousands of visitors in the early days of the Lunar New Year.

Foreign tourists enjoy walking on stilts (Ca Kheo), one of the traditional folk games in Vietnam.

Another folk game similar to blind man's bluff is also held.

Tourists show their excitement at taking part in the game.

After enjoying a series of folk games, tourists wait for the cable cars which then take them to the highest mountain peak in Vietnam.

Tourists are offered the chance to partake in activities at the spiritual complex on Mount Fansipan, which is considered to be the roof of Indochina.

Foreigners are keen to witness the majestic landscape which surrounds the mountain.
