Ambassador Ranjit Rae made the commitment at a meeting with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in Hanoi on October 1.
He expressed his honour to take the office in Vietnam, affirming to focus on the fully implementation of agreements signed by the two countries’ leaders.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed the Vietnamese government, ministries and departments will create favourable conditions for the ambassador to fulfill his mission.
He expressed his belief that Ambassador Ranjit Rae will promote bilateral cooperation in all fields, especially economics, trade, investment and education-training.
Vietnam and India treasure long-lasting traditional ties, the PM said, adding the government and people of Vietnam wants to join with India’s efforts to boost strategic partnership, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
