Reference exchange rate up VND2 at week’s beginning
The daily reference exchange rate for VND/USD on the first day of the week (June 12) increased by VND2 from June 9 to VND22,408 per USD.

With the current trading band of +/-3%, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is VND23,080 and the floor rate VND21,736 per USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw light changes from the last working day of last week.
Vietcombank listed its buying rate at VND22,655 and selling rate VND22,725, up VND5.
Meanwhile, BIDV reduced its rates by VND5, to VND22,650 (buying) and VND22,720 (selling).
Both the rates at Techcombank were unchanged from June 9, at VND22,630 (buying) and VND22,730 (selling).
