Reference exchange rate goes down VND3 at week’s beginning
The State Bank of Vietnam announced its reference VND/USD exchange rate at VND22,429/USD on July 24, down VND3 from the end of last week.

With the current /- 3% VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is VND23,102 per USD and the floor rate is VND21,756 per USD.
Major commercial banks kept their rates stable at the opening hours.
Vietcombank offered VND22,700 (buying) and VND22,770 (selling), per USD, unchanged from the end of last week.
BIDV also posted the same rates as Vietcombank’s, with VND22,700 (buying) and VND22,770 (selling), per USD, also unchanged from the end of last week.
Techcombank kept its buying and selling rates unchanged from July 21 at VND22,685 and VND22,780.
