ENTECH HANOI 2026 attracts over 200 local, international exhibitors
VOV.VN - The Hanoi International Exhibition on Energy and Environment Technology 2026 (ENTECH HANOI 2026) opened in the capital on June 24, bringing together more than 200 domestic and international companies to showcase the latest energy and environmental technologies across 250 booths.
Running from June 24 to 26, the event serves as an effective business networking platform for the energy and environmental sectors.
Exhibitors are introducing advanced, knowledge-intensive technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing environmental pollution, supporting the green transition, and promoting energy conservation.
In his opening remarks, Nguyen Xuan Luu, vice chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, emphasised that to ensure national energy security, Hanoi is focusing on improving institutions and policies to create competitive advantages and a solid foundation for energy development.
The city is also stepping up efforts to promote energy conservation, environmental protection, climate change adaptation, and the implementation of international commitments on emissions reduction.
In addition, Hanoi aims to develop energy storage battery systems with a total capacity of 250 MW this year and maintain annual growth of 20% in the years ahead. The city also seeks to have around 10% of government offices and 10% of households install rooftop solar power systems for self-generation and self-consumption each year.
ENTECH HANOI 2026 is anticipated to create a dynamic business environment and open up new opportunities for cooperation. The exhibition provides businesses in Hanoi and across Vietnam with direct access to modern clean technologies, opportunities to connect with advanced global supply chains, and a platform to accelerate technology transfer and sustainable business development.
Kim Yong-Geon, director of Busan Metropolitan City's Environmental Policy Agency, said that the Republic of Korea and Vietnam share deep ties built through history and tradition. Based on mutual understanding and cultural affinity, the two countries have maintained close cooperation across economic and industrial sectors, while Busan has continued to expand exchanges with Vietnam in various fields.
He pointed out that ENTECH Vietnam had established itself as a global business forum bringing together the latest information and technological trends in the energy and environmental sectors and expressed hope that the exhibition would serve as a bridge for enterprises and agencies from the two countries to share technological capabilities and professional expertise.
