CEVA Logistics expands presence in Ho Chi Minh City
CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, has officially opened its new facility in Ho Chi Minh City, doubling the size of its local operations in order to exploit the potential of the local logistics market.

Vietnam is considered a strategic market for CEVA Logistics. CEVA has a long-established presence in Vietnam at Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, serving one of the most dynamic and fast-growing markets in East Asia.
The World Bank is indeed predicting that Vietnamese economic growth will continue to be around the 6.5 per cent per annum mark in coming years, particularly as a result of the free trade agreements (FTAs). The agreements include abolishing certain customs duties and easing market access. This makes Vietnam an even more attractive production country for many companies.
Vietnam’s remarkable development record along with its enhanced ability to connect with the world’s biggest economies, makes it an ideal import\export hub and a strategic destination for companies looking to build manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia.

Previously, in December 2012, CEVA Logistics established its new joint venture (JV) in Vietnam with long-time partner, Indo Trans Logistics Group (ITL). The JV in Vietnam, named CEVA Logistics (Vietnam) Co. Ltd, allows CEVA to have a stronger presence in Vietnam with its local head office in Ho Chi Minh City.
CEVA’s presence in Vietnam dated back over 12 years where it began as a representative office with limited functions, offering freight management services.
