Most of the delegates agreed that the NA’s Secretary General should be allowed to decide if citizens could attend NA sessions.

Deputy head of the National Assembly’s External Relations Committee Ngo Duc Manh said, “The NA House is where we practice democracy. I hope that the National Assembly House will help improve people’s awareness, particulalry among young people and students, of electoral regulations, democracy, and the National Assembly’s performance. I think that we should not limit citizens’ attendence at NA sessions.”

Naitonal Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung asked relevant agencies to complete the draft laws to be submitted to the meeting of full-time deputies, scheduled for August 24.
